Self-published in 2019, Freydis Erik's-Daughter & the Vinland Venture tells a story of the daughter of Erik the Red in verse. Originally a screenplay written on the basis of a lifetime of reading Icelandic sagas and travel to Iceland, Greenland, and Newfoundland, the text then took the form of a novel with non-fictional endnotes, and later--as self-published--a poem.
